Greek Yogurt with Strawberries, Mint Leaves and Roasted Almonds
Greek yogurt is an excellent source of calcium (for 100g of yogurt there is approximately 150 mg of calcium) which is important to bone health.
Greek yogurt is a source of live bacteria- Probiotics! It is great to support a healthy bacterial balance in the gut.
For this recipe, you can use any yoghurt of your choice!
Strawberries & Mint is a combination of sweetness and freshness that goes great together!
Strawberries are a great source of fibre, vitamin C, and antioxidants!
Adding mint is a great way to add flavour and spin the dish to be extra special.
Almonds are packed with antioxidants and vitamin E, they are an excellent source of protein, potassium, iron and zinc.
Yogurt with Strawberries, Mint and Roasted Almonds
- 3/4 cup Yogurt my favorites Greek/Coconut
- 4 Strawberries or any fruit you like
- Handful Mint leaves
- Handful Roasted Almonds* crushed or whole
Assemble nicely in layers all the ingredients and eat immediately
*You can lightly roast raw almonds by warming them on a pan for a few minutes.
